Guide to Intimate Waxing

There are several different treatments available to keep your intimate areas groomed and gorgeous.
Bikini Wax

The best way to think of this is that any cheeky hairs that would be on show if you wore of a pair of bikini bottoms are removed. This is a great starting point if you a waxing virgin. A quick tidy that will make sure you are only showing what you want to when on the beach!
Brazilian Waxing-£20
This treatment was first sported by the sexy ladies in Brazil who spend far too much time in Bikinis! A Brazilian Wax removes all the hair from the initmate area (thats right- underneath too!) and leaves a tiny thin strip of hair at the front around 1 inch thick. Chic, stylish and a must have for any well groomed woman to look and feel their best top to tail.

Hollywood Waxing-£25
Hollywood Waxing is the most daring look of all. With every bit of hair removed, front, back and underneath this is a a huge growing trend in waxing. Clients who sport this look love the clean, silky smooth feel only a great Hollywood Wax will give.
Why have intimate waxing?
Waxing is quick, clean and hygenic long lasting hair removal. Keeping regular appointments for waxing means hair regrowth is finer and slower.
Who does intimate waxing?
Beauty Therapist qualified to NVQ level3 can do intimate waxing though it is often a good idea to go to a therapist who has done a specialist additional training course. Warm or Hot Wax can be used dependant on the individual therapists preference, both have different benefits and both give excellent results if used correctly.
Hollywood Wax
What happens in a waxing treatment?
You will be asked to change into disposable underwear and the therpaist will wait outside while you are getting ready. You will also be provided with some baby wipes at this point if you want to freshen up a little.
You therapist will then clean the area to be waxed with a prewax solution and pop on some talc powder.
Wax is then applied in small sections to the excess hair and removed quickly and with minimal discomfort.
The therapist will ask you to help the process by holding the skin and positioning the legs correctly- don’t worry your modesty is kept in tact at all times!
You will then be advise on the best way to care for the area between waxes and your next appointment made for 3-4 weeks time. At Beauty Define I have been trained by Kim Lawless, also known as the wax queen, the best training for intimate waxing.
